- Airline rules will dictate the value of cancelled airfare. This is not determined by the contracted travel agency in any circumstance.
- Basic economy fares will have no residual value upon cancellation (unless the airline has made an exception during this unusual circumstance).
- Most airlines do not offer full refunds for airfare cancellations on non-refundable fares. Review the airline’s rules associated with your purchase.
- Many airlines are offering a residual credit that (in some cases) have extended deadlines for use and may (in some cases) waive change fees. Credits earned from business travel can only be used for future business travel and should not be used personally. If you are unable to use airfare credits, contact the Travel Office for eligible options.
