Business Computers
Desktop and laptop computers, servers and associated peripherals are all part of the OSU Computer Hardware preferred supplier agreement. Participating suppliers include Apple, Dell and Hewlett-Packard, just to name a few. Save up to 50% off with the Higher Education pricing. All Apple purchases should be made with Ohio State’s campus tech store, Tech Hub. Dell and HP purchases can be made through eStores.
Personal Use
Ohio State’s campus technology store, Tech Hub, offers a wide variety of technology products to meet the needs of the University community: students, faculty, staff, and alumni! Tech Hub sells top brands including Apple, HP and Dell. Receive academic discounts on computers, software and accessories.
On-campus warranty repair work is also provided for computers purchased at Tech Hub, and extended protection is available for up to 4 years, including accidental damage protection, with a Tech Hub Protection Plan.
Tech Hub sells Adobe and Microsoft software with academic discounts. The University provides a number of other software applications ready to download. Visit OCIO to learn more.
A valid BuckID or Wexner Medical Center ID is required to purchase many items from Tech Hub, which is located in the Tuttle Park Place Garage, next to Huntington Bank.
Disposables
Dry Ice
Dry Ice is available through the OSU Stores Reagent Lab in a variety of sizes. Orders can be placed using eRequest or as a Standing Order by submitting an approved Stores Service Agreement.
Requisitions transmitted to Stores must be received and approved no later than 12:00 Noon for delivery next business day.
Dry Ice Standing Orders
- Submit an approved Stores Service Agreement to the Director of Stores, Receiving and Mail Services.
- The service agreement must include delivery requirements (i.e. Deliver 5-lb block on Monday, Wednesday, Friday).
- Any cancellations or additions must be made by 1:00 p.m. the business day prior to delivery.
- Additions to the quantity stated in the Service Agreement require an approved Service Agreement Release form.
- Stores assigns an agreement number and documents the request on a standing order delivery form.
- Delivery receipts are included with each shipment.
- Orders are billed at the end of each month to include total amount delivered for the month. The billing will reference the service agreement number.
- The Inventory Billing Report and delivery receipts can be used for reconciliation.

Gases and Supplies
The OSU Stores Gas Warehouse stocks more than 100 commonly used gases, basic regulators, and accessories. Orders are processed and delivered Monday through Friday during normal operational hours. If an order is received before 3:00 pm, it will be delivered the next business day to any specified location on main campus.
Please see the Gas Cylinder Warehouse for delivery and ordering details. Special order gases and accessories/supplies can be purchased as well just ask for a quote. Our prime vendor for cylinder gases, supplies, and liquid nitrogen is Praxair. Our partnership with Praxiar enables Stores to offer the lowest prices and fastest service for the University community.

Over 400 of the most commonly used scientific supplies are in-stock at our Scientific Warehouse. These items are available for pick up or next business day delivery through eStores. The Scientific Warehouse also offers scientific grade Ethyl Alcohol in both 190 and 200 Proof USP. Different quantity options are available for both types.
Liquid Nitrogen
Liquid Nitrogen is available through the OSU Stores Gas Cylinder Warehouse. Liquid Nitrogen can be ordered using an online PeopleSoft requisition or, if approved by your Department Fiscal Officer, as a Standing Order. Online requisitions must be approved at the department level no later than 3:00 pm for delivery the next business day.
Liquid Nitrogen Standing Orders
The following procedure must be followed for all standing orders for liquid nitrogen.
- Departments must submit an approved Stores Service Agreement to the Director of Stores and Receiving.
- The service agreement must include delivery requirements (i.e. Deliver 20 liters every Monday, Wednesday, Friday).
- Any cancellations must be made by 1:30 pm the business day prior to shipment.
- Additions to the quantity stated in the Service Agreement require an approved Service Agreement Release form.
- Stores assigns an agreement number and places the request on a standing order delivery form.
- Liquid Nitrogen is delivered as requested and will include a delivery receipt.
- Standing orders are billed at the end of each month to include total amount delivery for the month. The billing will reference the service agreement number.
- Departments can reconcile the purchases by using the Inventory Billing Report and the delivery receipts.
Personal Protection Equipment
Storage Solutions
Stores offers short term storage solutions for University customers in a secured, heated and monitored environment with many value added solutions available based on requirements. Pricing and rates are based on customers specific needs and documented in a Memo of Understanding (MOU). Generally, a single pallet footprint (40”x48”) is $25.00 per month. Cycle counting, inventory reporting, access and internal billing are the included in the baseline charges. Arrangements can be made for document shredding, pick up and drop off and other services and are quoted at the time of a request and reflected in the MOU.
