Staff Appreciation Week is a celebration to thank Ohio State staff members for their contributions to the university. Activities will start with the annual Staff Appreciation Ice Cream Social on the Oval in front of Bricker Hall on Monday, July 22, from 1-4 p.m., with a brief program around 1:30 p.m. Additional activities include a Columbus Crew SC game, Ohio State Fair discount admission, Ohio Stadium tours, Ohio State Planetarium shows, Orton Geological Museum tours, Historic Costume and Textiles Collections tour, Wexner Center for the Arts tours, and local restaurant and retail discounts. This week, President Drake announced the sixth year of the Faculty and Staff Appreciation Football Game. A large number of faculty and staff have an opportunity to be randomly selected to receive four complimentary tickets to the Ohio State vs. Florida Atlantic University football game on Saturday, August 31 at, noon. For the opportunity to receive tickets, faculty and staff are required to opt-in at http://hr.osu.edu/appreciationevent by July 19, 2019, at 11:59 p.m. Tickets will be given based on a randomized selection process. Planning your next professional development opportunity and need funding? Apply for the Staff Career Development Grant. This Ohio State grant provides staff with an opportunity to participate in learning experiences on and off campus that match their needs and career goals.

Eligible staff can apply for a Staff Career Development Grant of up to $1,250 for individuals, $1,750 for groups of 2-10 and $2,000 for groups of 11 or more.
