HR Connection will launch September 21, and can be accessed using Compass , the HR Connection Portal , via email ( HRConnection@osu.edu ) and by phone (614-247-myHR). The HR Connection Portal will be available 24/7 and hours of operation for phone and email response will be 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Faculty, staff, and student employees can contact HR Connection for support on a variety of HR and payroll requests.

As previously announced, The Ohio State University is implementing a $15 per hour minimum wage for qualifying staff members in non-bargaining units. The new minimum wage is effective August 30, 2020. The first paychecks to reflect the new minimum wage will be September 25, 2020. Eligible staff employees who are currently paid below $15 per hour will receive a pay adjustment to $15 per hour. In addition, an adjustment will increase the pay of employees who are currently paid $15-$15.99 per hour to a new hourly wage of $16 in recognition of their skills and experience relative to staff moving...
Setting goals can be a way to think positively, purposefully and productively about the future. Defining clear goals that align with college or unit goals and stretch the employee is an important conversation in the Performance and Development Cycle. Last week, the revised Enterprise Project Timeline was announced. Highlights of the new timeline include Workday HR and Payroll go-live on January 3, 2021, and Workday Finance and Supply Chain go-live on January 7, 2021.
The HR Service Delivery timeline for the new HR and payroll operating model has also been modified and will be complete prior to the go-live dates. All HR and payroll professionals will transition to their new roles before Workday HR and Payroll goes live on January 3, 2021.
In March, Ohio State leaders announced a six-month extension of the Workday implementation timeline and changes to the HR Service Delivery transition timing due to impacts of the coronavirus outbreak on the university community.

New codes for COVID-19 leave options have been developed and will appear in eLeave on Wednesday, April 8. These codes will be used for University Disaster leave and to request emergency time off under the federal Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA) . Supplemental documentation may be required in conjunction with these leave requests. Guidance for employees on how to use these options in eLeave and how to submit supplemental documentation will be posted on the COVID-19 leave options website.
