The University is subject to natural and man-made incidents that could threaten its community, resources, and mission. In an overall effort to protect the University, the Business Crisis and Continuity Management Program was established as a proactive means of preparing for and responding to unplanned business interruption.
Business Continuity is a holistic and integrated approach that identifies potential impacts that threaten an organization and provides a framework for building resilience with the capability for effective response, crisis management, incident management, and operational recovery. The program includes centralized coordination, facilitated planning process, tools, training, and exercising to ensure we are appropriately prepared to manage incidents that have the potential to significantly impact University operations.
