Family caregivers are often pulled in many directions, trying to care for the special needs of an aging parent or disabled child while at the same time caring for spouses and other children. This leaves little time or energy to care for themselves. Participants will learn techniques to help them stay healthy, peaceful and balanced. Tips on how to alleviate stress through various holistic health care modalities, breathing techniques, gratitude journaling, positive thinking, and empowering speech will be shared. We will learn ways to deal with challenging situations and people, and the important role of healthy eating and proper personal care. We will practice a short meditation technique at the end of the presentation.
Presenter: Judith Eugene, founder of the Loving Hands Group and Loving Hands Yoga and Reiki, provides holistic healing services for people from age 3 to 103, at all levels of ability.
