OE@OSU

The Operational Excellence at OSU program works with efficiency teams throughout the university to save money, add value or otherwise improve service levels. Through fiscal year 2018, the OE@OSU team has mentored and trained more than 900 efficiency experts throughout Ohio State's colleges and administrative units in Lean Six Sigma methodology to advance operational excellence and continuous improvement.

In the four years through fiscal 2017, OE@OSU projects saved or avoided $41.2 million in costs and eliminated nearly 225,000 hours of non-value added work. OE@OSU provides:

• Training in Lean Six Sigma continuous improvement techniques

• Mentoring and project assistance for operational excellence 

• Consulting to colleges and administrative units
