OSU Stores Gas Cylinder Warehouse

It is the mission of the Stores department to support the academic, medical and research functions of the University. They recognize the varying needs of the OSU community and tailor their products and services accordingly. The Stores department offers multiple goods and services, including storage, office supplies, janitorial supplies, lab supplies, cylinder gases, dry ice, HPLC solvents and special mix reagents – just to name a few. Stores is integrated with Purchasing, Receiving and Mail. By using electronic order capabilities through eProcurement technology and a coordinated delivery system, Stores is able to provide same or next day delivery on thousands of items at the lowest possible cost. Stores is a strong advocate of efforts that promote environmental sustainability. Through initiatives like the Green Alternatives Program, Stores is able to offer over 5,000 environmentally friendly options for commonly used office and janitorial supplies. But that’s not all. Being the University’s sole provider of Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI) certified copier paper, Stores sells over 200,000 reams of recycled copier paper annually. Being socially responsible is important to Stores. In support of this university-wide priority, Stores promotes opportunities for state of Ohio certified minority and EDGE suppliers. Preferred suppliers for janitorial, laboratory and office supplies partner with minority businesses to offer hundreds of products to support your procurement needs. 

• Items Offered: Cylinder gases, liquid nitrogen, and related hardware items and other commonly used items are kept in stock; will special order any specialty or liquid gas, hardware items, and freezers.
