  • Using a pCard for purchases from Lowe's is strongly discouraged. 

  • The OSU contract with Lowe’s does not extend contract pricing to purchases made at retail stores.

  • OSU customers should make purchases through RoundTrip section in Buckeye Buy to receive the contract discounts.

• APPLIANCE ORDERING AND DELIVERY
  • When ordering an electric range or dryer you must order the range AND dryer cord with it if you want it to be installed. Verify whether you need a 3 or 4 prong cord.
  • Lowe's will hook up refrigerators to exisiting water lines, but will not install new water lines. Verify you have a proper water line if you want this hooked up.
  • Over the range microwaves, dishwashers, water heaters, garbage disposals, and gas ranges all have a SEPARATE INSTALL FEE and MUST HAVE A CONTRACT SIGNED before Lowe's can install them. These installations are generally not done at the time of delivery. It is recommended to work with building coordinators to complete the installation of these appliances.

  • When ordering an appliance for direct delivery, please give as much detail as possible in the delivery instructions using the memo field.  This should include the following:

    • Building address

    • Room number

    • Department name

    • Phone number and name of person receiving the product

    • Where the driver can park to unload/load

    • What time of day the delivery can be completed

  • Please note that you must answer the driver's call.  If no one answers the driver's call and they cannot get someone to let them into the building and meet them at the delivery location, they will leave without completing the delivery.  The product will go back to the store and the delivery must be rescheduled.

Central Receiving delivery for most orders: Columbus campus staff should have most orders from Lowe’s delivered to Central Receiving (#381) with the exception of doors, windows and lumber, and major appliances (see above for appliance guiadance). Those items should be delivered directly to the customer location. Concrete, masonry supplies and mulch can be delivered to Central Receiving on pallets. 

The store locations listed below are set up specifically to receive orders through the catalog. Customers will have the option to pick up catalog orders in the store if necessary.
