Toledo Thermal Equipment Company was founded in 1966 as a manufacturerâs representative to the HVAC industry by Walter A. Peterson. They evolved into a full service source of specialty mechanical equipment providing quality products, a large inventory of hard to find specialties, system troubleshooting, pump repair, and variable speed drive service. Partnering with their manufacturers, they expanded business into central and southern Ohio. Their second facility opened in Columbus, Ohio in 1998. At that time they changed their name to Peterson Thermal Equipment Company to better represent their operation as a statewide supplier of specialty mechanical equipment. Operating out of a 7,000 square foot facility in Toledo, Ohio and a second facility in Columbus, Peterson Thermal continues to provide product support to the engineering and contracting communities. For over 40 years Peterson Thermal has gained a reputation as the supplier of choice for system solutions.
