Martin Carpet Cleaning was founded in 1890 by Mary and Frederic Martin in German Village. The dream to open their own business began when they moved to California during the Gold Rush. Although they did not find gold, they discovered the art of Oriental Rug Cleaning. They returned to Columbus to open Martin Carpet Cleaning and start a family. Throughout the years the service offerings have expanded to include professional floor mat and dust control rental and commercial carpet, upholstery and tile & grout cleaning. As they celebrate 124 years in business and four generations of family ownership, they continue to build upon the quality cleaning tradition that their GreatGrandparents began in 1890.
