Energy project wins top award
IJ Global, an international finance publication, identified the university’s Comprehensive Energy Management partnership as both the winner of the North American social infrastructure category as well as the best example overall for North America in 2017.
This is the second time the energy partnership has won recognition as the year's best example of innovative funding. In September, P3 Bulletin awarded Ohio State its special recognition award for the "groundbreaking approach" to energy management that could be a model for other universities to achieve their academic goals.
Innovative funding is one element of the Operational Excellence and Resource Stewardship pillar of the university's strategic plan, and a primary focus of the Office of Business and Finance.
