Using Find Supplier Invoice Details – OSU

Use Find Supplier Invoice Details - OSU to view Supplier Invoice Details for invoices that have expensed on your General Ledger.  To begin, open the report and complete the following prompt guides:

  1. Select the Header Company (best practice is to select all the companies you have access to)
  2. Select the Line Cost Center/Cost Center Hierarchies/Worktags (as desired)
  3. Select the Invoice Approval Accounting Date on or After using the first date of the month you are wanting to tie to the General Ledger
  4. Select the Invoice Approval Accounting Date on or Before using the last date of the month you are wanting to tie to the General Ledger

In the output, the Supplier Invoice Activity associated with the accounting dates selected in the prompt will display.  Since the invoice Operational Reporting does not house the Ledger Account use the Spend Category to compare to the General Ledger activity.

Common Reasons for mismatch between the operational activity and the General Ledger include: the supplier invoice was modified after being approved (canceled, rescinded) since the accounting date was ‘updated’ to the rescind date, the ledger account associated with the spend category is NOT an expense account.
