  • Ohio State trustees approve Fiscal Year 2021 budget

    A new budget for Ohio State provides a clearer picture of the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on university operations. The Board of Trustees voted today to approve a $7.5 billion budget for Fiscal Year 2021. University leadership presented a detailed overview of the budget to the board that showed how the pandemic continues to present significant budgetary challenges for Ohio State. No source of revenue is unaffected.
  • New minimum wage to be effective August 30

    As previously announced, The Ohio State University is implementing a $15 per hour minimum wage for qualifying staff members in non-bargaining units. The new minimum wage is effective August 30, 2020. The first paychecks to reflect the new minimum wage will be September 25, 2020. Eligible staff employees who are currently paid below $15 per hour will receive a pay adjustment to $15 per hour.

  • Return-to-campus kits now available through eStores

    As part of the safe return to campus, every Staff and Faculty member with a planned return date to campus should receive a return-to-campus kit.  Departments should procure the kits before their Staff and Faculty return to campus, at no cost through eStores.  Please batch your department kits to eliminate extra deliveries on campus.
